Alex Peter Jeannopoulos

Alex was born in 1971, the elder of Peter Jeannopoulos and Mireille Lebrun’s two sons (his younger brother Christopher arrived in 1974). He sits at the meeting point of two diasporas — Greek Asia Minor on his father’s side, Haitian Port-au-Prince on his mother’s — and the family record on this site is, in large part, his ongoing effort to trace both back. He, his wife Karyn, and their daughter Mia lived in New York City through 2016 — Mia was born there in 2009 — and moved to Plantation, Florida in August 2016, where the household has been full-time ever since.
